Project designed in collaboration with Joan Coma i Riera, architect.

This project includes the renovation and the extension of the main building of a holiday camp, located at the Veïnat de Sallent in the village of Santa Pau. The existing building has one floor and it’s build on a natural environment of high value, with the usual Garrotxa’s landscape characteristics. The program solves the demand of a larger accommodation capacity and dining room space.

The extension is planned to be done on the east side in a way that the new volume is integrated to the existing roof shape and the slope of the land.
The outdoor spaces are designed with as minimum intervention as possible and they work as a transition between the inside spaces and the forest.
The selection of materials and construction elements follows a pre-establish design guidelines in order to achieve a formal unification in the entire facility compound and the minimization of the visual impact on the landscape.
