The project consists on the extension in the first floor of a detached residential house. The building is located in a residential area of low density in the village of Medinyà. The house is set on one floor and built with brick load bearing walls and ceramic tiles roof. The promoters’ needs are to build a studio with terrace on the first floor. The intervention is based on removing completely the existing roof and building a new volume integrated to the existing one, which gives a totally new definition to the house.
